ONE of Northern Ireland's most experienced site managers collected his ninth major National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job award at a glittering ceremony held at The Culloden Hotel.
For Ballykelly man John Logue, 56, a Site Manager with Taggart Homes, it was the third time he had picked up the prestigious Seal of Excellence award, this time for his work at Plantation View in Limavady.
John qualified for the Seal of Excellence competition as one of 25 Pride in the Jobs Award winners across Small, Medium and Large builder categories.
John's staggering list of nine NHBC awards illustrates a keen eye for excellence and quality, two cornerstones of Taggart Homes' approach to creating beautiful, luxury homes for families across the North West of the Province.
The Ballykelly man, who began his working life as a bricklayer, assumed his first supervisory role in the mid-80s when he was in his late 20s.
Now as Site Manager for Taggart Homes, currently working on a new development at Oak Country Manor on the Crescent Link in Derry-Londnderry, John is mentoring a new fleet of industry juniors to acquire the same demands for excellence that has marked his career to date.
