Record attendance at Limavady High School open night thumbnailLimavady High School Year 10 girls Katelyn Macnicol, Leah Craig and Laura McClelland helped Mrs Keown, Head of Geography, on open night by explaining to prospective pupils and parents what Geography was like at the school.

LIMAVADY High School recently held its annual open night for prospective pupils entering post primary school in September 2017.
The evening was, once again, an outstanding success as upwards of 700 parents and pupils packed the school assembly hall and the adjoining corridors to hear the opening remarks from the Acting Principal, Mr Mornin and current Year 8 pupils Madison Duff and Jack McCorkell.
Said Mr Mornin: "I do hope that tonight, you and your child get a feel for our school and indeed what happens on a daily basis in our classrooms and our extra-curricular activities. Limavady High School opened in 1961, making us 56 years old this year.
“We are extremely proud of our school and its impressive grounds which is going to continue to be developed over the next couple of years.
“Within the next 24-36 months, we hope to have completed a new sports hall, STEM Centre and Shared 6th Form Centre with our neighbours St Mary's Limavady. This multi-million pound investment means that these are very exciting times to become a member of our school community."
