Prize night for Limavady Wolfhounds thumbnailNuala Cooke, winner of the Most Promising Underage Player of the Year award at the Limavady Wolfhounds GAC annual dinner dance and presentation evening.

LAST Saturday, Limavady Wolfhounds held it's annual dinner dance and awards night for the 2016 season in the Roe Park Resort.
The event saw a packed out hall with over 200 in attendance. Among the invited guests there were Monsignor McCanny, Mrs Mary McCloskey, Principal of St Mary's High School and Thomas Niblock of BBC Sport NI. MC for the evening was Mr Gerry Donnelly who did an expert job of keeping the people well entertained throughout the evening.
In his address, Chairman Ronan Curley paid tribute to the North West Independent Clinic in Ballykelly and thanked them for the support over the last number of years.
He then went on to announce Granny Annie's Bar & Kitchen as the club's new sponsor and thanked Willis, Ryan and the McLaughlin family for their continued support of Limavady Wolfhounds which stretches back to the early days of the club.
The winners
Award winners on the night were: Under 16 Girls, Players Player of the Year was Niamh McIlroy and Most Improved was Chloe McManus. Jenny Hasson took home the Player of the Year award.
