Limavady 1st XV back to winning ways thumbnailLimavady 1st XV player Rory Squires sets up another try with his pass during the comfortable win against Donaghadee on Saturday.

Limavady...........80 Donaghadee............0

AS expected, Limavady got back to winning ways against basement side Donaghadee at a sunny John Hunter Memorial Grounds last Saturday. It's been a difficult year for the North Down side who have haemorrhaged almost 20 players in the last year for various reasons with relegation to Section 3 confirmed some time ago.
On the team front, Jamie Millar remains sidelined with an ankle injury meaning Peter Wilson continued at scrum half while Jamie Mo Millar moved to out half with Jack McCool returning from injury. Up front, Brendan Ferguson got a chance to impress in the second row while Clive Scott was given a new role by wearing the No 8 jersey for the day.
Limavady, who have only tasted victory once since, started at a blistering pace and didn't give the visitors time to settle.
Jack McCool kicked a penalty on 8 mins but he was off target with a conversion attempt two minutes later. Peter Wilson registered the first of Limavady's 12 tries. A great break in his own 22 from prop Rory Squires laying the founds for the opening try.
