Eglinton woman enjoys meet and greet with Duke and Duchess of Cornwall thumbnailIsabel meeting Prince Charles along with her chatting to the Royal Couple

A GRATEFUL granny was 'royally' surprised last week with a special visit to her bed side from Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.
Eglinton lady Isabel Spratt was unfortunately admitted to Altnagelvin Hospital's new NW Cancer Unit and as Isabel and her family approached the hospital the Police informed them a Royal visit was imminent, on Tuesday May 9.
Seventy year-old Isabel has contributed to her local community in various workplaces, including a job in the City of Derry Airport where, on a handful of occasions, she witnessed Royal visits but never as personal as this.
The chance encounter with the Royal couple came about with a gentle wave of a hand from Isabel, inviting the Royals into her room to say hello which they surprisingly accepted.
