'My late parents would be so proud' thumbnailLimavady lady Anne Love who was honoured with a MBE for her services to the community, in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list.

WELL-known Limavady woman Anne Love says she is "humbled and delighted" to be recognised with a MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours list. Being awarded for 'Services to the community in Northern Ireland,' Anne said she was "gobsmacked" when she was secretly notified back in early May that she was to receive the Member of Order of the British Empire (MBE).
Former Limavady High pupil Anne has volunteered with various youth groups for over 40 years and has been an active and devout member of Balteagh Church all her life. Anne is a volunteer and work experience manager for the Western Health and Social Care Trust, and works closely with local educators to offer opportunities for students and the unemployed to get an insight to new career pathways.
For the past 30 years Anne has also been a regular volunteer in Christian Youth work in the Limavady area and is heavily involved with Limavady Outreach and Services Team (LOST).
