Limavady Youths are up for the Cup thumbnailLimavady Youths Under 11s who will be competing in this year’s Foyle Cup.

LIMAVADY Youths are hoping to bring home some silverware this year as they enter seven teams in this year's Foyle Cup. Running from Monday July 17 to Saturday July 22, the annual Foyle Cup is now in its 25th year and is played in Derry City and Limavady.
This year, the Limavady Youths are aiming high and have entered seven teams into this years popular summer tournament.
The self funding club have over 200 young players currently registered with the club, which does not include those who attend the mini soccer, attended by approximately 30 to 40 every week.
The club are a vital community organisation for young people in the Limavady area, and relies heavily on donations for team kits and equipment as well as Club running costs.
Terry McKenna, manager of the Limavady Youths Under 16 team, said: "Limavady Youths is a cross community youth football club based in the centre of Limavady. The Club has teams from age range 2007 to 2000 as well as a weekly mini soccer facility for even younger players (age P1 to P3).
