ROE Valley members of the Royal Black Preceptory were on parade in Limavady on Saturday morning, prior to travelling to Castledawson for the Co Londonderry demonstration. The village, hosting a Last Saturday parade for the first time, welcomed 35 preceptories from Limavady, South Londonderry, City of Londonderry, Coleraine and Raphoe and County Donegal.
Among the special guests at the local demonstration were Rev John Noble, Imperial Deputy Grand Chaplain, preacher at the event, and Sovereign Grand Master Millar Farr.
Mr Farr said: "The 'Last Saturday' traditionally brings the curtain down on the Loyal Order parading season.
“The various demonstrations offer a wonderful spectacle of culture and pageantry, attended and enjoyed by large crowds at six different venues across the Province.
“It has been a memorable and significant year for the Institution, perhaps most notable for our Christian ethos and our charitable outreach.
