Final countdown for Jodie

Thursday, 14 September 2017

Final countdown for Jodie thumbnailJodie at her charity fundraising night in Frank Owen’s bar Limavady.

AS they say 'life's a catwalk,' this is certainly true for one ambitious young Drumsurn woman who has made the final of the inaugural Miss Intercontinental Ireland/NI. Eighteen year-old Jodie Semple spotted an advert on social media for the beauty contest and decided to send in an application, now she is over the moon at making the final.
Jodie will compete in the grand final of the beauty contest in The City Hotel, Derry, on Sunday September 17, and hopes to pick up one of two crowns as Miss Intercontinental Northern Ireland and as Miss Intercontinental Ireland.
The former Limavady Grammar pupil wanted to try new things on her year out, before she hopes to go to Queen's University to study philosophy, so she entered the pageant and is so far loving every bit of it.
With ambitions to become a Religion teacher she hopes to gain more experiences and meet more people before she takes the plunge at university next year.
