Limavady to sparkle this Christmas thumbnailSanta Claus and the Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council will switch-on the Christmas lights in Limavady on Saturday 18th November, kicking of a busy Christmas period for the town.

THE big Christmas lights switch-on in Limavady will take place on Saturday, November 18, with entertainment at Roe Valley Arts & Cultural Centre from 4.30pm. The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Councillor Joan Baird OBE, will join Santa to travel in style through the town with Clydesdale horses before the switch-on ceremony at 5.15pm, followed by music with a DJ.
As the countdown to the festive season gets under way, Limavady has lots to offer - with new festive lighting, local independent shops and a great range of entertainment and activities. Small Business Saturday on December 2 is a great time to start looking for that unique gift. The town's Chamber of Commerce has been working with traders to provide food sampling, music and shop promotions on the day.
