Robinson urges residents to be vigilant

Thursday, 14 December 2017

LIMAVADY Alderman Alan Robinson is warning the community to be extra vigilant over the Christmas period following a serious burglary at the weekend.
Police confirmed a house in the Dunmore Place area of Limavady had been broken into in the early hours of Sunday December 10, with the criminals making off with an Audi A3, television and a sum of money.
Anyone with any information is urged to contact police after burglars stole the homeowner's grey Audi A3, which was later recovered in the Station Road area.
Alderman Robinson has expressed his anger at the reported burglary, saying: "For some, Christmas is their opportune time to rob folk of their hard earned possessions.
“It angers me that those that steal their way through life have been at it again this weekend, with more reports of local people being left terrified, frustrated and even traumatised.
