Dungannon Swifts..............4 Limavady United...........0

NOT much was expected from Limavady United at Stangmore Park in Saturday's fifth round Irish Cup tie against Premiership side Dungannon Swifts, and that was exactly what was produced by the visitors, as the Swifts cruised to an easy victory, helped in no small measure by some hapless defending from the Roesiders.
Making all the allowances that the gulf between the respective leagues would permit, United still were poor in every part of the pitch.
Paul Owens gave debuts to Aaron Canning and Zach Burns as he sought to buck United's poor Irish Cup record.
There were also welcome returns for Wells and Hume but any chance of an upset vanished after only two minutes, when a Patton cross from the left caught United sleeping and Harpur had the simplest of tasks to nod home from five yards out.
Patton, making his debut, was a thorn in United's side throughout the match, giving Watt a torrid time, but the next threat came from a long range shot by Wilson which fizzed narrowly past the post.
