Let there be light! thumbnailWork has started on the cottage at Magilligan.

AS the first phase of work begins to restore the iconic Seacoast Cottage in Magilligan, the realisation of the scale of the project comes to light and an electricity connection is now the main issue.

Seacoast Cottage, located in the town land of Ballyscullion, Magilligan, is the birthplace and life long home of Edward and Eileen Quigley, a brother and sister both in their 70s who have lived in the cottage all their lives with no toilet, electricity, heating, running water or modern appliances.
