‘Don’t Divide Dungiven’

HUNDREDS of residents from Dungiven and the wider community lined the streets of the town in protest over proposed boundary changes on Sunday March 18. The proposals drawn up by the Boundary Commission would see the town divided into three different parliamentary constituencies - Mid-Ulster, West Tyrone and a new Causeway constituency, based around the Causeway Coast and Glens Council area.
After assembling at Dungiven Castle, a short presentation was made by the organisers of the event 'Don't Divide Dungiven' which is a cross community group not connected to any political party.
