THE sun has hardly set on the 2017/18 season but already Coleraine manager Oran Kearney is planning ahead for next year.
Within days of guiding the club to a first senior trophy success in 15 years, the Ballymoney man moved to bolster his backroom team.
Former player Paul Owens has been brought in from Limavady Utd, where he has spent the past few seasons as player-manager, to join the coaching set-up.
It's a shrewd move on the manager's part: Owens has proved successful with the Roesiders where he guided the club to a number of trophies.
“Paul has all the right attributes to a person I want to have at this club and I feel the he will be a great success in this role," explained Bannsiders' boss Kearney.
“He has played under us, he knows the club inside out and he knows how we work.
