Serbs still dangerous: coach thumbnailColeraine assistant manager Trevor McKendry has warned that FK Spartak Subotica will prove dangerous opponents in Thursday’s Europa League qualifying round second leg at the Coleraine Showgrounds. The sides drew 1-1 in last week’s first leg in Serbia.

COLERAINE FC first team coach Trevor McKendry is warning of a Serbian backlash in Thursday evening's Europa League qualifying round second leg at the Coleraine Showgrounds.
The Bannsiders and opponents Spartak Subotica drew 1-1 in last week's first leg in Novi Sad but McKendry, who took charge of the team in manager Oran Kearney's absence, believes the Serbs will present a difficult obstacle in the second leg.
“They're a really good team, as you would expect from a full-time side," said Trevor.
“They will come on to us and they will be coming to win - they know they have to score.
“We've got to be solid and compact like we were over there and we're going to have to work very hard if we hope to get through," he added.
