No stopping Slaughtneil as they overcome Kilcar in a thriller thumbnailBarry McGuigan in action.

Slaughtneil...........................2-17 Kilcar...............................0-17

THE crowd of 3120 who made it to Healy Park Omagh on Saturday evening witnessed a game for the ages.
Two teams full of quality and class served up an absolute exhibition of what Gaelic football is all about.
Thirty six scores in sixty minutes, supreme fitness, great skill, great team play, sporting stuff and manly contests.
Despite their recent success Slaughtneil still have their detractors, they don't score enough.. answer 2-17 with 2-13 from play, they don't have a strong subs bench, answer Brian Cassidy 0-2 when he came on.
We can go on but surely this game puts an end to all the nonsense. Kilcar had beaten Scotstown from Monaghan by 1-16 to 1-6 in the quarter final and at that stage Scotstown were seen as the strongest challengers to Slaughtneil's title.
