Defibrillator funding now available for sports clubs

Thursday, 25 January 2018

FUNDING for defibrillators is now available for sports clubs from the Causeway Coast and Glens. The funding is part of an initiative by the Department for Communities and Sport NI which aims to increase the number of potentially life-saving devices in community settings. The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Councillor Joan Baird OBE said it is a hugely important initiative: "We are all too aware of the difference a defibrillator can make in a crisis situation.
