Dergview..............0 Limavady United.............1

FOR a football supporter, as opposed to a mere spectator, there can be as much pleasure in scrapping out a narrow win on a heavy pitch in January and keeping a clean sheet, as there is from a champagne performance. United rewarded their travelling supporters with just such a performance of character and were fully deserving of their victory, courtesy of Ryan Logue's 81st minute strike.
In unseasonably mild weather, United started brightly and McCloskey had an early chance, shooting from outside the box, but he was denied by McCusker
On ten minutes, a good move saw Logue put Bradley in on goal but McCusker was quick to react and the chance was foiled.
Dergview had their first effort on 14 minutes when McManus' weak shot was well wide. On 20 minutes, United had a scare when McGlynn left four defenders in his wake as he rampaged down the left along the bye line, before Wells bravely blocked his stinging shot.
But United clicked into gear on 23 minutes and Bradley was unlucky to be denied by a last ditch block when he was poised to score.
